Between February 11, 2024 and February 11, 2025 I took a Polaroid photograph of the sky from my backyard every day after getting home from work. The result is 228 photographs.

I initially bought a few packs of expired round frame Polaroid film that I wasn’t really sure what to do with. At the time, I was also feeling very burnt out from work, while also feeling stressed out by life in general. I also felt wasn’t able to focus as much time on photography as I wanted. So I decided to at least take one photograph a day after work to continue to have some type of ongoing practice.

Taking a photo after I got home provided some sense of a reset for the day. This ended up marking the end of the work day, but it also guaranteed I would have at least a small portion of my day dedicated to photography, which I was desperately missing.

In the end, I don’t know what these are really about. All I know is that the sky is amazing.
